What this domain collects

Short version: nothing that identifies you, and nothing at all unless you say yes.

This page covers lab.bhasin.io and everything hosted under it — the front page and every experiment in a folder beneath it. One page, one policy, so it does not need rewriting each time a new experiment ships. Where a project remembers something specific to itself, that is described below in general terms; ask if you want the detail for one in particular.

Analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and projects people open. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google, with your IP address truncated before storage. Nothing is loaded and no cookie is set until you press Allow; if you press No thanks, the script is never fetched. Any tracker blocker will also stop it, and every page on this domain works exactly the same either way.

The choice is asked once and applies everywhere on this domain — saying no on one page means no on all of them, and the reverse.

You can change your mind at any time:

What your browser remembers

The lab itself remembers two things in your own browser: your light-or-dark theme preference (lab-theme) and your analytics answer above (lab-consent). Neither identifies you and neither is ever sent anywhere.

An individual experiment may remember more — quiz scores, a reading level, that kind of thing — so it behaves sensibly between visits. That is stored under its own keys, in your browser only, never sent to a server, and never used to identify or follow you across a device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What we do not do

No accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no fingerprinting, and no selling of anything to anyone, anywhere on this domain. Every project's code, models and data are served from this site. The single exception is Google Analytics, described above, and only if you allow it — decline and nothing is fetched from another server.
